Intimate Wedding
in the Pacific Northwest

This one holds a special place in my heart. My best friend had a beautiful intimate ceremony amidst the breathtaking redwoods of Oregon. Whimsical and idyllic are the words that come to mind when describing this day. Shannon and Jonathan invited only their families and a handful of their close friends to witness their marriage in the peaceful setting of the Hoyt Arboretum. I had the immense honor of not only standing by her side as she said "I do", but also being able to capture their beautiful day.
Despite it being early April in the PNW, the weather cooperated and allowed for a classy backyard reception, which was held at a VRBO right outside the city. They listened to everyone give speeches reflecting on moments of their journeys together. The love that those in their innermost circle have for them was deeply felt. A small guest list did not stop them from having a blast at the party. With great music, all the seats were empty and the dance floor was packed. The night featured big smiles and full hearts.
